Emi Takahashi Tull is a senior Dharma Yoga Registered Teacher based in London who has studied with Sri Dharma Mittra intensely for many years. She is registered as an E-RYT 500 and a YACEP teacher with the International Yoga Alliance. She was also selected to be one of hosts in Dharma Yoga Conference by Dharma Yoga Center NYC.
Most of her life has revolved around one physical discipline or another, including ballet, martial arts, and yoga. Her background in education and knowledge of the fundamentals of Buddhism reinforce her teaching. The environment she was born and raised in brought her to spiritual practice in childhood, and therefore spiritual practice has been her lifetime focus. Her long search for a teacher ended when she found her Guru, Sri Dharma Mittra. She is dedicated to Dharma Yoga and sharing his teachings with people in London on a daily basis.
Emi teaches Hatha-Raja-Bhakti Yoga imparted by her Guru, Sri Dharma Mittra. Her asana classes incorporate challenging Shiva Namaskar Vinyasa. She pays careful attention to the students’ individual needs and gives adjustments, variations and modifications to help them deepen their practice physically, mentally and spiritually. She offers other yogic techniques including chanting/kirtan, pranayama, meditation, yoga nidra to lead students towards true goal of yoga.
Emi is honoured to share the knowledge she has gained from Sri Dharma Mittra and from her life path. Emi hopes that students experience the feelings of equality, compassion and peace thorough her classes.
